LTS was engaged for the piling works for the Bridge over the Clarence river at Tabulam NSW, for the replacement of the longest timber bridge still in service in Australia, 250m long, with a 50m long overflow bridge.
This consisted of the installation of 1500mm diameter & 900mm dimeter Steel liners, socketed into rock, the excavation of material and socketing below liner into high to very high strength rock, place and splicing for steel re-enforcement, and placement of concrete to B80 Specification. Piles ranged between 11-22m in depth.
